How we’re keeping our patients safe

Our first priority at Bruno Orthodontics is to keep everyone safe, which is why we have a series of protocols designed to protect the wellbeing of our patients and staff. We deeply appreciate your patience as we work to ensure everyone who walks through our doors stays healthy.

COVID Guidelines

Our COVID-19 guidelines are based on CDC and OHSA recommendations and have been approved by the Maryland Health Department. Some of the practices we’ve adopted at our office include:

  • Disinfecting surfaces: Our team disinfects treatment rooms after each patient leaves, so you can expect to enter a freshly-sanitized room for your appointment.
  • Social distancing: We’re doing what we can to maintain safe social distancing at our office, including spacing out seating in our waiting lounges, staggering appointment times, and making use of private treatment rooms for checkups.
  • Regular wellness screenings: Before we allow patients into our office, we conduct a quick wellness screening, asking if you’ve recently experienced symptoms of COVID-19 or been in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19. We regularly conduct these screenings with staff as well.
  • PPE for patients and staff: Each staff member wears advanced PPE to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We’re also asking patients to wear face coverings to help keep everyone safe.

Single-use equipment: Whenever possible, we’re making use of single-use and disposable equipment during appointments to protect our patients and staff.

Is it safe to see the orthodontist during COVID-19?

Between increasing vaccination rates and the safety protocols we have in place, patients can be confident they’ll be safe at our office. We’re inviting patients to complete initial consultations at our office, but you can also complete a virtual consult if you feel more comfortable seeing treatment options that way.

Here at Bruno Orthodontics, we greatly appreciate your understanding and patience as we all work together to ensure the health and safety of everyone.
